Carl Edwards changed history by playing NASCAR® The Game™: Inside Line.
Those vital last few moments of the season closer at Homestead-Miami in November 2011 saw Carl lose out to Tony Stewart who took the Sprint Cup Series Championship. With NASCAR The Game: Inside line you, like Carl, can relive or rewrite history by reliving race highlights and trying to change the outcome. This awesome new feature is possible due to the implementation of telemetry data. This complex tracking system measures data from actual NASCAR races and pinpoints the exact distance between all the vehicles on track at any given time. Eutechnyx has used this information to recreate race scenarios exactly as they occurred in real life, with each car precisely where it needs to be. So, when Tony Stewart passed nine drivers within the last three laps to win at Homestead-Miami in 2011; players will now be able to replay that exact situation and revel in his triumphant victory. These Challenges also give players the chance to alter the outcome of specific events. How about when Dale Earnhardt, Jr. was on the verge of ending his winless drought at Charlotte last year until he ran out of gas during the final two laps? Rather than losing the race, players can go back in time to this moment and try to conserve enough fuel to finish in first and alter the course of history. The game ships with 14 of these Challenges and supports the 2013 Season with weekly downloadable content, meaning that you'll never miss a moment. Available DLC can be viewed here, get yours by purchasing either the Inside Line Pack, or individual Highlight Packs in-game and relive or rewite History!
